Iraq War Chronicles Saddam's Mythic Fall & Pakistan's Strategic Shift

  • Iraq War Chronicles Saddam's Mythic Fall & Pakistan's Strategic Shift

In 2003, the invasion of Iraq was the beginning of the war known as the Iraq war or operation Iraqi freedom. The combined forces of nations from American and European countries, including the United Kingdom, Austria and Poland, entered Iraq and overthrew the regime led by Saddam Husain in 21 days of primary combat operations. Saddam Husain's regime fluctuated between reality and math. The annexation of Kuwait resulted in Operation Desert Storm that led to UN sanctions diplomatically, militarily and economically. The fact that Pakistan was a partner in the aftermath of UN.9/11 revolutionized the world. The world was destroying Afghanistan through the help of Pakistan as a frontline ally of the united states in the fight against terror. Then the terms of American violations against these weapons led to the attack of our allies in Iraq, ultimately ending the Saddam Husain regime.

If we examine the background, we will see that the Saddam regime was in a state of flux between myths and reality. Saddam's goals were to make Iraq the dominant authority in the Persian Gulf and the Arab world. In the year 1963, his party issued an official pan-Arab charter. It called for a collective Arab defence and the abolition of any foreign intervention in the gulf. This meant that competition between the USA and Iraq was inevitable; even though Iraq had a formidable army, but more robust than Saddam thought, for instance. Saddam believed he could win a quick victory in just three or two weeks, but the war went on for eight long years, during which you can quickly see Saddam's regime shifting between reality and myth.

On the 2nd of August 1990, Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait and quickly occupied the country within six hours. This was an absolute shock for Kuwait USA, and the entire world. It had not happened anywhere before the second world war's conclusion. The result was the desert storm operation by which Iraq was forced to declare a complete removal from Kuwait. UN Security Council condemned Iraq's invasion and annexation of Kuwait. The Arab League took the same action. The UN has imposed mandatory sanctions that forbid any member state to transact with Iraq. It is the European community. The US, as well as Japan, have frozen Kuwait's assets. The US put in ground troops and air units to defend Saudi Arabia and look at Pakistani's future of Pakistani foreign policy. Iraq generally agrees with secular policies, which is a snub to Pakistan. Pakistan consequently wouldn't want Iraq to be a significant regional power. It adhered to the US strategy and agreed to deploy 550,000 troops as a multinational force. Was in support of the campaign of un.

The events of 9/11 altered the course of the world and destroyed Afghanistan, the US, and its allied forces. Pakistan was made the Frontline ally of the US in the battle against terror for the sake of survival. After the attack on Afghanistan with weapons of mass destruction. The US claimed the fact that Iraq produced weapons of mass destruction. Based on this claim, we and our allies attacked Iraq and overthrew the regime of Saddam within 21 days.

To make a short saga that Saddam's regime ended with the invasion of the United States and its allies on the bases of weapons of mass destruction. Pakistan was a full supporter of us following 9/11 to win our support of us economically and militarily.
